Here is the full stream of Episode Four: Cooking, Quality of Life Improvements and AMA (highlights below)!
Cooking: Our First Taste
The first iteration of Cooking is now live - well almost. We had some technical difficulties on steam but we spoke about what this iteration means for players. It’s not fully feature-complete just yet, but it's a great start start to add more gameplay depth.
Cooking introduces a brand-new way to manage your resources and progress as a player. Not only will it offer useful consumables and buffs later in feature development), but it also adds layers of discovery. Some recipes and ingredients will be shared with the community, others won't be! You’ll have to uncover those on your own (or team up with fellow players to crack the cooking code!).

Rarities: A New Layer of Depth
Say hello to the new rarity system — a key part of our upcoming economy and progression reveal
In Moonfrost, items will now come in nine rarity tiers, ranging from Common all the way to Transcendent. These rarity levels will influence not only the power of items but also how you craft and upgrade them.
Let’s take Frost Workbenches as an example:
The rarity of your Workbench determines the maximum rarity of Frost Tool you can craft.
Own an Epic Workbench? You’ll be able to craft Common, Uncommon, Rare and Epic tools (assuming you’ve got the right Blueprints and materials).
Want to upgrade a Frost Tool to a higher rarity? Your Workbench must match or exceed that rarity level.
It’s a deeper, more strategic crafting system and we can’t wait to see how you help rebuild the world of Moonfrost!

Item Storage: The Quality-of-Life Win You Asked For
You asked. We delivered.
We’ve added item storage! No more playing inventory Tetris every time you gather a few extra carrots...
You can now stash your excess items safely, while still expanding your personal inventory by increasing your player level. It’s all about making the day-to-day smoother, more fun, and way less cluttered.

Homestead Animals: Look at All Those Chickens
They’re here — and they’re running wild.
We’ve just added the first of our homestead animals (properly): chickens! These feathered friends are now part of your daily life in Moonfrost. You’ll need to chase them around the homestead to gather eggs (useful for cooking, of course).
This is just the beginning. We’re planning to add a variety of livestock animals, wildlife, and even pets — but more on that in future updates, you can see a sneak peak of that here.
