Fishing 'Fish Around And Find Out'

Fishing is now in its fourth prototype, and we’ve officially locked in the final design. Next, we’ll focus on adding polish, but the key takeaway is that fishing will be both challenging and highly rewarding, if it feels fun even when you don't land that big 'glowing' fish which probably is going to be really important we think we are on the right track.

What’s next for fishing? We need to add sound effects, replace developer art with final game assets, and refine the overall experience. Our next steps include balancing, followed by community testing!

Server Testing As we prepare for Early Access, we’ve been analysing data while also listening to the community. Since Moonfrost includes PvP elements, maintaining a stable ping is essential. To ensure a smooth experience, we’re investing in additional servers.

We’ll start with three server locations: London, Singapore, and Central America (exact location still being tested). If your region isn’t listed, don’t worry—we’ll consider adding more servers based on community feedback and player demographics.

Orders A new gameplay addition and an update to balancing! So, what are Orders?

Orders are part of a larger improved task system designed to reward players while helping stabilize the in-game economy. Players will complete orders for various items, including crops, food, fish, and more.

In return, players will earn SIL, Craftcoin, SHARDs, or other rewards. Not sure what these currencies are? Please read our FAQ for more info.

Orders will be issued by the Frost Hunter Association and will be accessible from both The Farm and The Village. There will be two types of orders:

• Special Orders (replacing daily tasks) – Rewards Craftcoin

• Standard Orders (a new addition) – Rewards SIL
  

Additionally, players will no longer be able to sell inventory items directly for SIL. To earn SIL, completing order flows will now be necessary and main story tasks. Below is a work in progress mock up of what Orders will look like in-game.

Creator Program We’re launching a (Content) Creator Program to support players who want to create content around Moonfrost. This initiative is still in the early stages, and we’re looking for up to 20 volunteers to help shape the program with us.
