Tech Talk
In this episode, we managed to bring on a special guest Nuno Gonçalves, one of our Senior Software Programmers. He shared insights into the grid system, which is fundamental to Moonfrost’s world-building.
The level of detail Nuno went into on stream was incredible. It’s very granular, so if you’re looking to learn more about game development, especially in building a next-generation pixel art farm life sim we highly recommend watching the full episode!
Frost Workbenches
If you’ve seen or read about rarities in Episode #4, you’ll already be familiar with the new Frost Workbenches coming in Early Access. They will play a key role in your progression and reward-earning potential. You’ll be able to operate them to craft Frost Tools with [Redacted].
Frost Tools
Tools have been around in Moonfrost since the beginning of time (or at least Alpha Release 1). Each tool has a unique ability in-game, but Frost Tools introduce a new level of rarity and are tied directly to progression and reward-earning potential.
Charms
Mysterious items of unknown power... more information revealed soon.

New NPC and Playable Character
Character customization will be added in the later stages of Early Access development, but the community asked for more options, so we've added Jack as a playable character.
Once character customization is complete, we’ll add Jack, Ava, and Kyung to the NPC roster in-game, so you’ll get to learn more about their stories and their impact on the world of Moonfrost.
